Patreon: Action Prompts

For the month of May, we’re going to start posting action prompts to our Patreon for all $1 and above subscribers. These prompts will go up three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. They’ll be accessible to every subscriber, both a thank you to those who have been sticking with us through these fairly rough months. We’re so grateful to those of you who have subscribed to us and we’re always open to suggestions of what more we can do to build this into a better community.

Let us know if they’ve been helpful to you. If you’re one of our subscribers, check out the week’s first action prompt now.

Today’s teaser freebie:

Smoke billows in a small room, rising quickly on hot air. Embers crackle, splashing your feet as the ceiling blackens overhead. Air grows thinner and thinner with each quick inhale. So thin, so fast, your head is spinning. You can’t move, your body is heavy, your hands lashed behind your back. The stench of burning wood and plastic fills your nostrils, and you think you see flaming tongues licking up the underside of the door. Your only hope rests with a window six feet off the floor to your left. Just large enough, you think, for you to fit through.

If you can get there. You can, can’t you?

Happy Writing!
